Dear partners, UN Women invites interested partners to submit proposals to implement a capacity building programme and support local initiatives aimed at strengthening gender-responsive peacebuilding and governance in the Security Zone. The selected partner will provide capacity building for up to 100 women and men from local governance and civil society in the Security Zone to enhance inter-community dialogue and cooperation around issues of common interest. The programme will equip local community actors with the necessary technical skills and strategic knowledge to effectively contribute to creating more resilient, inclusive communities, fostering sustainable peace, and advancing local development. The intervention is implemented under the project “Women’s Increased Leadership for Resilient and Peaceful Societies”, funded by Denmark, with activities in Georgia, the Republic of Moldova, Ukraine, and the ECA Regional Office. In Moldova, the project focuses on Ending Violence against Women, Women’s Leadership, and the Women, Peace and Security Agenda, contributing to the implementation of the UN Women Strategic Note 2023–2027.
